Unlike most other forms of bodywork, Zero Balancing works with the body's energy and structure, so it can be effective in addressing a wide variety of conditions, from joint and skeletal problems to chronic illness to emotional issues and stress-related symptoms.

  • Stress and fatigue
  • Anxiety
  • Fibromyalgia
  • PMS
  • Soft tissue injuries
  • Migraines
  • Sleep disorders
  • Ulcers
  • Recovery from broken bones and damaged joints
  • Hypertension and recovery from heart attack
  • Recovery from emotional trauma (long- and short-term)

Zero Balancing is derived from Chinese medicine, which treats the body, mind and spirit as one indivisible whole. After a session clients often feel relief from the symptoms they came in with, but more importantly, they usually feel a sense of graceful stillness, of "flow" or of "getting themselves back," leaving them focused, relaxed and more prepared to take on the challenges in their lives.

A typical session lasts 45 minutes and consists of gentle traction and palpation, with the client fully clothed. The practitioner evaluates for areas in the skeletal system where energy is being held and assists in the release of that energy. This energy is then available to the client in the form of better concentration, increased healing ability or simply a greater zest for life.

Give it a try.
