Ilona Dowgiallo has a doctorate in physics from the Wroclaw University of Technology in Poland and has postdoctoral studies in health sciences at Sherbrooke University. She has also spent 15 years in the department of nuclear medicine at the CHUS devoting her talents to research in the fight against cancer.

Throughout her many years of research, Ilona has always remained intrigued by the role nutrition and stress play in maintaining health. Always striving to broaden her understanding of health, she continued her training of the principles of Chinese medicine and acupuncture. Because of her background in physics she immediately saw how meridian blockages could have an effect on ones health. In an effort to elevate her research to another level, she has integrated it to her knowledge of nutrition. A 3-year course in naturopathy enabled her to continue in this direction. Noticing that a lack of nutrients could potentially create blockages, she wanted to determine how these blockages could be corrected with proper nutrition. This doctor in physics and certified naturopath proposes a unique form of naturopathic consultation which considers health, nutrition and stress in a comprehensive health assessment.
