Spa Eastman celebrates 30 years!

Back in 1977, the idea of a vacation dedicated entirely to relaxation, health and wellbeing was considered to be something of a novelty. Today, as Spa Eastman celebrates its 30th anniversary with special activities, Jocelyna Dubuc has good reason to feel proud. "I know that I was ahead of my time," recalls Dubuc, the president and founder. "Many people considered I was taking a huge risk but now I'm seeing my dream coming to fruition. Today, more than ever, people need to take care of themselves and get back in touch with what is important in their lives."

Spa Eastman's 30th anniversary program continues throughout the year. Anniversary packages, guest speakers, themed weekends, online contests (you can win 30 prizes!) are just a sampling of the celebrations. Vacations (3 to 15-nights) in Spa Eastman's relaxing, rural setting are also on offer, featuring "cures" and programs designed to encourage spa-goers to get back into shape.

As well, Spa Eastman, in a nod to its early days, is offering a mini-stay (3-day, 2-night) to spa-goers - an anniversary package during which they can sample the spa's famous grape "cure" or "living" food diet. Throughout the year, nutrition expert Dr. Jean Drouin will be the featured guest speaker during bi-monthly Back to the Source weekends.
