See the wonders of nature from a Native American perspective. This interpretive hike through Snow Canyon State Park lead by Ginny Sparks, a full-blooded Navajo woman born on the reservation in the Four-Corners area, will share first-hand knowledge of the many usages and benefits of the vegetation found in the our desert area. Ginny is a registered nurse and was raised by her grandmother, a respected medicine woman. Ginny will explain the extensive sacred significance of recognizing and using various medicinal plants for spiritual and physical healing.
